The Aprilaire 4330 is a plastic U-shaped humidifier replacement component which encases the Aprilaire Water Panel Evaporator. It is made to redirect any harmful mineral build up back into the evaporator panel and to prevent water from leaving the evaporator section and entering another portion of the humidifier.

I am disappointed in this product
This scale control insert is poorly designed and is leaking water from the humidifier after only 2 weeks of use. The plastic part is poorly designed buy Aprilaire as the 2 part plastic frame has a seam that leaks water - 2 inserts have been placed in service and both have leaked after only a few weeks of use.

Doesn't fit
I bought this because it was supposed to fit into my humidifying part of my ac, but when trying to install it, it doesn't fit with a humidifying pad.

Good oem part
UV light deteriorates the plastic if it is exposed to the light. I bought 2 expecting the same results. They last a bunch of seasons before they crumble.
