Excellent water filter at an Excellent price - I would buy
This filter is mounted under the kitchen sink and filters the cold water line on the existing Kitchen Faucet. Capacity is @6000 gals before replacement or one year of use. Easy installation, but additional fittings are needed. Go to your local hardware store for help with the fittings. My wife loves the filtered water. Water flow 2.5 gal per min.

I use this product in an under the sink Body Glove bracket. Apparently there is a significant difference in the bayonet mount. The unit sealed fine, but after two months it stopped working. I could remount the cartridge but could only get one run of filtered water before it closed off. So, I do not know exactly where the problem is. But, my local pro plumbing supplier said that they used to carry this model but stopped because of product failure. I ended up returning this and buying the BG 12000C from body glove.
I'd like to thank Supply House for always having my back. They gave me a refund instead of an exchange. That is customer service and why I am loyal for all things plumbing from them. Thank you.

This is a truly excellent filter ; much better than others I have used : once installed it is easy to replace without creating any mess ; no clean up required ; I would recommend over any other filters

This replaces the BG1200c
I don't know the difference in the specs but this unit is compatible with the BG hardware. The fit is a bit tight but seals property and the flow rate feels indistinguishable. I am happy. The water tastes fresh and bright. If you want to be critical you should compare the specs with the Body Glove unit to satisfy yourself

ehh... it works but it is not the best
Previously I used the 3M XL7000, which is a similar filter in fit and size, but had superior performance. I find that this unit out the box has a larger pressure drop then the prior filter, and also does not do a great job in taking out the chlorine taste. I used this item as replacement to the XL7000, and I don't think that I will purchase this item again.
