Perfect Replacement for Astro 25BU
The Astro 225SU was a perfect swap-out for the previously installed Astro-25BU. Didn't need to purchase the flange unions as the previously installed 3/4 copper to 1-1/4 pump union mated to the new pump union threads perfectly. The new pump is 3-speed. Spec to the old pump (HP, Head, & Flow) similar. Swapped out the old 115 power cord to the new pump and set at speed 1 (lowest). Pump seems to be doing fine and hot water is being delivered to distant kitchen as before. Just wish the impeller was made of sturdier stuff. The 25BU impeller (also non-metal material) lasted for about eeleven years. Hope to get same from replacement pump. As always, Supply House was top notch with best price and fast delivery!
