They are intended for use primarily to provide protection against corrosion, windblown dust and rain, splashing water, hose-directed water; undamaged by the formation of ice on the enclosure.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffThe use of a strap would depend on how the actuator is anchored, and how much torque is needed from the actuator.
