Description

B & G type Low Pressure BPX brazed plate heat exchangers offer the highest level of thermal efficiency and durability in a compact, low cost unit. These are ideal for applications that require 150 PSIG or less. The corrugated plate design provides very high heat transfer coefficients, resulting in a more compact design. The unit's stainless steel plates are vacuum brazed together to form a durable, integral piece.

Works surprising well
Both plumbers were sceptical. Using this to transfer the heat from a 460,000 btu outside wood burner to a closed in house system heating a double home. Heating 3800 sq ft of residence, 1000 sq ft basement, 900 sq ft garage and 2 dhw's. The plumbers didn't think that little box could do it. Generally seeing 10 to 15 degree drop supply to return at the boiler 50 ft of insulated pex away. Ordering and delivery were excellent also.
