My go to thread seal.
I've been using this thread seal for many years. It cleans up much easier than any other thread seal I've ever used. It's a great product.

ThePTFE Paste Works Great With Compression Fittings
I have used the sharkbite fittings for emergencies. And not being the best at soldering copper when there is a lot of water involved. As a landlord I have found using this paste on the compression fittings rings to be a superb alternative to soldering where conditions are damp and moist. I still have pipes with absolutely no leaks going on over 7 years now.
