Blue Monster Compression Seal Tape stops problem leaks while under pressure - without turning off the water source! Developed for professional plumbing contractors, Blue Monster Compression Seal Tape is ideal for crisis and long-term applications.
Blue Monster Compression Seal Tape features self-fusing layers that form a waterproof compression seal. Seal leaks up to 150 PSI on almost any material, from galvanized and cast iron to copper and all types of plastics and rubber.
Blue Monster Compression Seal Tape contains no adhesive. This tape seals by compression, so pulling the tape as tight as possible forms a chemical reaction that fuses the layers of tape into a mass of silicone. Once fused, the silicone mass forms a heavy-duty bond on the leak or connection that serves as an emergency or long-term repair.

I would buy this product again
This product has worked great on my steam pipe leaks. I have patched leaks over 3 years ago, and it's still holding up well.

This product works.
I had gas leaks. Prices quoted to me were $2000.00 to fix. Followed the directions, passed inspection. Natural gas turned back on. Easy to use.

Poor for most jobs
Maybe if you have a cracked pipe this product works because the surfaces are totally even. If you're trying to work on a joint of any kind this product does not deliver. Best to just redo the joint and be done.

Fair product, it's easy to get wrong
The tape is very soft thin opaque plastic, without adhesive, and the dispenser's outer structure is much larger around than how this comes in a roll.
It's very challenging maneuvering it in small spaces, also while dispensing the tape has tendency to catch and twist itself on the outer dispenser, leading to waste and improper layering.
Also I found evenly application of 4+ feet sometimes inadequate to contain a 110psi leak
