Hard to beat the price

I usually just make my own low loss header but no matter how you look at it these sure save time. The price on this is great compared to my local supply houses, and most are out of stock or don't stock them, weird. I could be wrong but I didn't see a 1" with 3/4" branches which was a bummer but they did have to 1-1/4" with 3/4" branch's. So I have read in other reviews that the spacing between the take off are sure close together, and I can confirm that's true but for me it wasn't an issue. I use taco zone valves and didn't have any issues with these. The only complaint I have is the 3/4" take offs. So I pretty much press everything now a days and every single press I did to the 3/4" copper was loose. I pressed taco zone valves and the Bluefin ball valves and ALL WERE LOOSE, even if I pressed it twice. If your soldering this isn't the issue. Just being that the Copper OD must be slightly smaller. This may affect wether I buy it again, unless it gets fixed. I would suggest SupplyHouse to get this fixed if possible or at minimum send some press stiffeners with the manifold. Not saying the stiffeners will work perfectly but they should help make it a tighter more secure press. To be clear it's very possible stiffeners may not work due to them being designed for thinner copper at standard 3/4"" OD such as baseboard.

Wouldn't buy again

You have to practically hammer in the fittings. The od of pipes are to big to accept copper fittings or valves. I recomend buying tees, and making your own. It is cheaper to do so.

Garbage

Out of six of these only three were good. The copper is so soft that couple of them were damaged in shipping but the others that were in damaged were out of round. A lot of the three quarter inch branches were also out of round but not as severely as the 2-in opening. Absolute garbage

Worked well for my unusual application

I used this with my new propane water heater system. I added three loops; a thermostatic mixer valve bypass, a hot water recirculating loop for instant hot water and a hydronic loop to replace the direct electric auxiliary forced air heater. I originally did the plumbing using 3/8 faucet hose but that did not provide enough flow to work well. The propane hydronic forced air aux heat works very well.

I would definitely purchase this item again.

I purchased 2 of theses items and used them to plumb in a new water manifold plumbing system in my home. Literally after 5 months of shopping/searching for a copper manifold with these particular dimensions, Supply House 🏠 wad FINALLY my savior! (Lol) This product was delivered in adequate time, wrapped accordingly and was in acceptable to great condition. The manifolds were constructed with professionalism and quality with absolutely great tolerances in regards to quality and specifications. The copper was very easy to work with during the soldering process. All in all, GREAT PRODUCT from a supplier (SUPPLY HOUSE 🏠) that has great service especially in customer service. Supply House's online chat service was an excellent tool when I needed to order accessories during my plumbing project. I really cannot compliment Supply House enough in regards to the online chat service. This service saved me so much time and headaches it is unreal. Thanks a million Supply House. Sean Whitman

I would Buy this product again.

I read all of the reviews on this product and was a little concerned about it after having to switch from my first choice to this one because of availability delays. But I have to say this item was perfect! The copper was not as thin as I had expected from the other reviews and the takeoffs were all perfect and straight. I was totally surprised as well as pleased with the product and how easily the installation went.

weak

The header copper (1-1/4 ID) was soft, almost like soft copper. Not rigid.

Good product.

Before purchasing I looked at both this manifold and the manifold with the valves already installed. First, by buying this manifold I saved more than 250 dollars. Second, I wanted full.port valves. The preassembled manifolds do not have this. Third, This manifolds are well built as easy to solder valves to. The branches are a little big when it arrives. I used a dremal with a sanding drum to rectify this issue. This process took maybe a minute per branch. All said I would purchase this product again.

Worked for me

I was nervous after reading a review before purchasing this item. No issues, no leaks, didn't feel that I had to hammer them on. Worked very well

I will buy this product again

We use these for commercial snow melts and they work great. We normally install our own valves and pex fittings. The fittings are tight but it makes sweating easier. I have never had a leak... knock on wood.
