Packaged very nicely in a sturdy case . Works well , however the instructions for use are horrible and hard to understand

Don't be tempted to buy this.
Although the tool does what it is intended to, you won't be happy with it unless all the crimps you plan on making are at waist height or below. I suppose if you are working above your head only with 1/2" pipe you could manage, but I found 3/4" to be VERY difficult to crimp and over my head impossible (especially vertical pipes)! Also when making the crimp, you will need to bring both handles together at the same rate (virtually impossible) or you will end up rotating the fitting which can compromise the seal. When I experienced the rotation of the fittings I called Supply House only to find that they do not offer any technical support! BLUEFIN is a brand sold only by Supply House and has ZERO technical support for this tool! There is no contact info available for this tool. I managed to return this tool just before the return window closed and bought a battery powered one when it was on sale. I also no longer buy BLUEFIN brand anything.

I would spend extra and buy electric.
Takes a lot of muscle to crimp 1 inch fittings. Works great in open areas.
Plan your layout well, So you don't work yourself into a tight spot. I crimped 120 fittings. 240 crimps. (My arms hurt again typing this out)

Easy to use. No leaks
Replaced water heater. mads very nice crimps and tool is extremely well built and easy to use. It has some weight to it but that was expected. Sure glad the handles get longer you definitely need it.

works well. big. heavy. poor documentation.
As others have made clear - this thing is NOT designed for tight spaces! If you've got space to run this tool, you've probably got space to sweat the fittings.
That said, it really does work well. I had a few fittings that required a press tool and buying this one was about the same cost as renting a power press tool so I gave it a shot—no leaks or issues with the 1/2" and 3/4" fittings that I pressed.
My only "issue" is the lack of documentation. How do you calibrate it? What do the two numbered dials do?

I had a water main leak under my house. I did a fix before, who knew it would be a temporary fix started leaking again the next day. I looked for a permanent repair. I found an electric tool like this way out of budget. If I was doing plumbing for a living would consider as investment in career. Found your manual version of Copper Press Tool with jaws plus purchased some coupling to fix leak. I Got underneath my house cut out bad section, slid the copper coupling on and put the Copper Press Tool on it. Had my wife turn on the water still had small leak put the Press Tool on it again, apparently I didn't put a nought pressure on it the first time. Put more pressure on coupling stopped leaking completely. This tool saved me on calling a plummer to fix. The tool is worth more then it cost.

Q: Will the refrigerant bluefin press tool jaws sku ZLTLKIT fit into this tool? And is there a kit includes the jaws only for this? I would like to buy one tool that can be used for both refrigeration pressing and plumbing propress fittings.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHello, thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, the jaws included with the ZLTLKIT will not fit this tool. The M18 force logic tool is compatible with both copper press for plumbing, as well as ACR. SKU: 2922-22 includes the jaws for the plumbing side, and you can also purchase SKU: 49-16-2662R for the ACR jaws if you choose.
