I have used Viega Propress copper fittings, for 5+ years.
The speed of installing copper piping using Viega, as opposed to sweating, is exponentially quicker.

Q: I am a novice. What is the difference between a copper Propress coupler with and with out a stop?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Santos! The standard or “stopped” couplings have indentations, which stop the copper pipe when inserted. The “no-stop” coupling doesn't have indentations.

Q: I own a Milwaukee M12 propress tool. Will this coupling be compatible to my tool? I normally use NIBCO and I have not had any problems.

Q: i haven't used this product before, just the traditional type. is this the type that has the solder built in and does one have to sand and flux all contact surfaces as usual?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis is the Viega Press system; there is not solder or flux. You would need to use the Viega press tool to make a fitting.
