solid, works great with steam
moved old steam radiator to new location and needed to replace valve. This worked great and was pleased to receive so quickly as local supply stores only carried 90 degree version of this valve.

The right valve for old cast Iron radiators
Looks well made, time will tell. Its a shame the union threads don't match the union nut on the old radiator.

Replaced 95 year old part
I had to use the hacksaw to cut out and deform the old spud nipple. This new part was installed with some pipe dope and nylon tape into the existing bushing. Make sure you buy the spud wrench to install properly. Also the threads around the open and closed knob may need tightened before you install and pressurize.
