Bradford White uses two part numbers to fill orders for this SKU. The alternative SKU is 224-47782-07. Both products are identical with no differences other than the part number.
This is a rod of magnesium that is put in a water heater to corrode instead of the metal of the water heater. It was as advertised, and fit the 3/4" NPT fitting on my GE water heater. That size is standard for most water heaters. It came with anti-seize on the threads, but I put teflon tape on anyhow so it will be easy to remove in the future. Takes a 1 1/16" socket or wrench to remove.
Took all of 5 minutes to change this. In a few months I'll pull it out to see how it is corroding. The aluminum rod I pulled out was pretty ragged, though there was a reasonable amount of metal left. The bottom few inches were completely corroded away to the steel core, and the rest had huge craters in it, all coated with buildup.
It was well packaged, large padded box for just this rod.

The good bad and ugly.
The picture did not match the product number. Therefore I ordered by picture and received the wrong item. The company was quick to send me the correct product. It costed 75 % of the value of the item to send the first shipment back. I was pleased with the second shipment and it was just what I needed at a good price. But adding the cost of shipping the first item back, over $20.00 I did not fair very well.

Exact replacement for my Bradford White water heater
This is second time I have replaced anode on my 15 year old water heater. This is probably the most crucial maintenance task (on top of ensuring PT valve is functional). Good price and quick shipping.

Perfect!
Supply House directed me to the correct part number and I ordered it. Received it right away in a well packaged tube and installed it. Perfect fit and my slightly rusted hot water due to the 4 year old anode being completely eaten away is clear again. I wrote the part number AND Supply House website on the water heater so I (or any potential new owner of the house in the future) can get the correct part again in the future.

Perfect mag rod, lightning delivery, cheaper than dirt
Arrived in two days, faster than I could get a plumber. Perfect fit. I buy everything HVAC from Supply House, Johnstone Supply won't sell over the counter to homeowners. I got my first emergency repair parts (ignitor) from Supply House before I could get an HVAC guy to my house. Now I buy everything (i hope i didnt just blow my cover) from Supply House: air filters filters filters, blower, ignitor(s), concentric vent, I've bought a bunch of other items, i cant recall.
Apparently I can now add plumbing parts to the list :)
