Q: are there 3 anodes in this heater? Plumber told me there is only two. When I first turn on the hot water it sounds like there is air in the line.it only does this for a short while and then quits and runs normal.this is a new house 7 months old. Have had the trouble since we moved in.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThis particular indirect water heater does have 3 anode rods. If there is air in the line the installer or plumber should flush the lines to get out any air in the system.

Q: How long are the anodes ? Want to get the new heater off the cellar floor and need to know clearance needed to replace anodes. Am assuming that the anodes are solid, not flexible. Anyone know? This is for the 38 gallon unit.
