Gas Primary Control for Carlin Residential and Commercial Gas Burners

arrived on time, install easy and worki g as deigned/expected. Nice to have heat working properly again.

The Carlin controller was a nice upgrade to the existing controller. The new controller has an LED screen that tells you what stage you are on with count down timer and timer for each stage. Any fault is save on the controller for review at a later time. Great upgrade to an existing gas burner.

I had a carling gas conversion gun to replace the old oil burner on my Weil Mclain boiler. It's been great for seven years and very reliable too. So after seven years the controller was acting up so I bought the same one on Supply House and it's been working correctly with no issues at all. Great price and fast delivery too.

I've had a Carlin EZ Gas Pro for the last 8 years or so and it's worked great. It came with the older 60200FR controller that doesn't have the LCD screen. Recently I noticed some intermittent short cycling. The call for heat would come, the burner would fire, the flame light would be lit, but then the burner would stop firing and then immediately do its post/pre purge and fire again. I talked to Carlin and they suggested that it may be the controller. I bought and installed the 60200FRS controller with LCD screen. The swap was easy, just look at the field replacement for older 60200FR in the manual. So far the burner is operating normally again. Now I have the added benefit of the LCD, diagnostics and fault history. I'm not mechanically inclined, and I need to monitor the behavior over the coming days, but I think I saved myself several hundred, if not over $1,000, in service call costs by giving this a shot on my own!

My only complaint was that the "jump" wiring needed adjustment to get rid of the "Blocked Vent" warning. Also we had multiple technicians offering the wrong answer just because they were not familiar with the Carlin product. So make sure the technician has worked with it before.

My old Carlin analog primary control randomly failed. I ordered this replacement from Supply House and they shipped quickly. Instructions were very helpful and clear. I had to make up a few jumpers because my boiler did not have all the safety switches this unit can handle. I would recommend that you also consult with the wiring diagram from your Carlin burner when installing. I was able to get this wired up and restored heat to my house without having to call in a HVAC contractor.

It works! With any luck at all, it will last as long as the unit it replaced, which went for 16 years.

My old non-computerized Carlin controller wouldn't fire my burner consistently. It would constantly have to be reset. Estimate to replace the entire blower: $5K! So… I took chance that it was the controller that was the problem and supply house had me this new unit by the next day. Installation wasn't too tricky and now: the unit works perfectly! I love the reliable heat. I also love saving over $4500 in replacement costs!!!

This solved my problem with flame detection. Several Professionals said replace the Flame Rod (sensor). The manufacturer said it is almost never the sensor, replace the Controller. The controller solved the problem.
