One Motor Was Fine The Other Sounds Like I'm Killing a Moose
I purchased two identical motors from SupplyHouse for two identical AC units. One works perfectly. The other makes an extremely loud and abnormal grinding/groaning noise right out of the box.
To make matters worse, the packaging on the defective motor appeared to have already been opened, which raised concerns that the item may have been previously returned or handled.
I contacted SupplyHouse expecting a reasonable solution for what appears to be a defective motor. Instead, they refused to return the product or refund my money.
I understand that defective parts occasionally happen. What determines whether I continue doing business with a company is how they handle the problem. In this case, SupplyHouse left me holding the bag for a defective motor.
I have purchased from them before, but after this experience, I will not shop with SupplyHouse again.
