Excellent Mini Split System, Can't Beat the Price

Ceiling cassettes fit nicely in 2'x2' suspended grid if you have plenty of clearance above. The electrical box hangs over into the next grid, so you have to have enough overhead space to lift the cassette through the opening on an angle, then turn it flat above the grid. Failing that, you have to disassemble the grid to clear the electrical box, then reassemble once it's hung. Needless to say, this is not a one man operation, the cassettes are about 30 pounds. Once hung, they are easy to pipe and wire. Set the elevation of the cassette about 1/4" above the bottom of the grid (recessed) to minimize the gap between the edge of the cover and the ceiling tiles. Beware the screws on the terminal strip, they fall out easily. Operation isn't totally silent, but at low speed I can barely hear the fan, and at high speed, have no problem hearing the TV or holding a conversation. Much quieter than a comparably sized window unit. Same performance and similar warranty as the major brands. Save some dough and still get a great system.
