Large capacity single zone mini-splits have the capacity to heat and cool large areas and include all the advantages of advanced inverter technology. You’ll find that your room reaches the preset temperature quickly and that the temperature is constant, without the variations that occur in other types of systems due to on-off cycling. Because the units run at low frequency most of the time, energy usage is kept to a minimum. However, during weather extremes (or when you have a room full of people), the compressor ramps up automatically to reach the set point and maintain the comfort level. “VMH” Series units are exceptionally quiet. Heavy duty inverter compressors in the condensers are not just efficient, but they also reduce noise and vibration. Inside, the balanced fan circulates large volumes of air at minimal sound levels.

Single zone models are especially suited to one room installations, making these large capacity units ideal for great rooms, rooms with high ceilings, studio or loft apartments, offices, and similar spaces. They can be used in new construction or to add cooling/heating to an existing building without the expense of adding ductwork. Multiple units can be used for exceptionally large spaces such as church sanctuaries or fellowship halls, banquet facilities, school common areas, etc.

Low Ambient Operation The low ambient feature allows cooling when outdoor temperature falls below freezing—great for temperature/humidity sensitive environments. Additionally, a factory installed crankcase heater keeps compressor oil warm and reduces heat loss to ambient air, while a sump heater prevents ice build-up in the pan, and enhances defrosting.br>
