Highly recommend this product.
installed under an hour with slight plumbing modification. Plugged the unit to a dedicated power supply and under 36 hours, the sulfur odor dissipated and is no longer detectable.

Check the threads before you install
I bought the anode rod for a Bradford White power vent water heater. The female threads were stripped from the factory on the top of the wye fitting. Needless to say this was the final step of installation so I had to not only remove the new anode rod, I also had inform the homeowner she would have to take another day off from work for us to install a replacement. She gave us a one star review. If you buy one check the threads before installing.

Nipple Length Too Short
Be aware that the nipple length of the "TEE" adapter can be too short to clear the insulation thickness on some water heaters. Will not be long enough to clear thickness of jacket insulation on "American Water Heater" Brand electric water heaters post-2014 regulations. About an 1 1/4" too short.

I like the quality
Easy to install product, takes care of several issues at once and gives you the potential of a longer life water heater since it is not self sacrificing (needing changed or serviced often) I Especially like the updated version with installation decal with instructions on how to verify it is working and installation date. And 20 year warranty! Save it and put it on your next heater if this one goes bad! Why not?

Q: The title states "for stainless steel water heaters", however, the description is for Bradford white tanks. Are you all sure this is for stainless steel tanks?
