Works as intended
Item showed up in good condition. Installed it 7-6-24. I bought this EWC type of damper because I already have a few of these, but square, already installed for my roof/ attic ventilation system. They've lasted for years and the little controller motors seem to be pretty durable. No problems on the other units and I've had them in for probably 8 years now. I knew these would be 24V AC and that is what my air handler puts out. The damper seals well. I feel no air coming out at the supply vent. I like these because it's a spring-open design and it's one less thing I have to design in with my controls.

I would buy this product again.
I used this fresh air intake for my wood stove. Works in conjunction with the blower motor for fresh air for combustion.

Should have bought the URD damper that motors both ways.
The motor gets pretty hot. recent literature cautions about this, but it is not posted on your web site. I should have went for the two-way damper with a relay. would have been much less power use, and less worry about overheating.
If I had read the current version of the product literature, I would not have purchased the spring return one.
