I would buy again
I am using 2 of these to close off a 10X44 inch cold air return duct on a wood furnace as part of adding a hydronic heat exchanger as a dual heat source. easy to install and easy to interface with my control system

This damper allows a lot of air through in the closed position. I had to apply weather stripping to the blades

Perfect unit
I have a dual furnace setup. These worked perfect to block off supply air from being forced down idle unit. Tight sealing blades. Minimal air gaps. Perfect in every way so far.

Motorized Damper
I needed a couple of dampers for alternate heating of a garage from an existing gas furnace. This one I used for the return air duct with a smaller one for the supply duct, both operated from an additonal thermostat and relay which also turns on/off the furnace. A great way to occasionally heat up a garage.

The damper is well machined and appears to operate perfectly. However, it does not form a very good seal to prevent leakage when closed.
