nice compact heater
I bought this to replace a 3.5KW unit that just didn't put out enough heat for a single sink in commercial restroom. Fortunately, the wiring in the wall was 10-3 wired for 120V, so I just replaced the breaker and repurposed the neutral wire and viola 240V@30A. I like the adjustability of the temperature on this unit to dial in water that is warm enough for a comfortable hand washing.
I only wish Eemax would include a spare decal! The unit can be mounted in any orientation, but the sticker is already placed so that it is right-side up when the hookups are on the bottom. For my application, I replaced an existing Eemax unit with the connections at the top, so it looks upside down. If the decal was in the box, I could have placed it with a more visually appealing orientation.
