Emerson Browning refers to the Browning power transmission brand originally manufactured under the Emerson Power Transmission division, tracing to Browning Manufacturing Company (originally Ohio Valley Pulley Works, established 1896 in Maysville, Kentucky). Browning V-belts, sheaves, variable-pitch pulleys, and bearings are widely used in HVAC air handler and furnace blower fan drive systems.
