24V H-Series Medium Duty 2-Position Damper Actuator (Direct CW)

Purchased before. This one lasted about 13 months. Unfortunately none are currently made that have a stronger actuator with the correct shaft size for Trol-A-Temp ZD Dampers

I reviewed this unit previously and gave it 5 stars. After 13 months, 1 of 3 have failed. The motors are just not tough enough. Fit-wise, they are drop in replacements for TrolATemp RDMZ actuators, and I'm purchasing again for that reason, but they just don't last. Note: Honeywell M847D is not compatible with TrolATemp.

Fast an easy replacement. No cutting or drilling required. As others have mentioned, all the Synchron motor damper controls are designed for limited lifespan. These are still the easiest way to get back up and running.

I had to swap out the shaft clamp with an extended bolt due to orientation of my damper. Otherwise, works well and will purchased more when other actuators fail.

And they worked just fine!

Couldn't find this damper actuator anywhere other than suppluhouse.com order it and it arrived in 2 days, made my customer very happy when the problem fixed.

This is an almost identical replacement of the old Honeywell motorized damper motor M847D1012 which has been discontinued. Honeywell upgraded their dampers to a much larger size motor interface, making it impossible to simply swap out the motor in tight areas. I came across this product and am very pleased.

For better or worse, this is an exact replacement for the actuators in my HVAC system. Eventually these things seem to wear out and they're a little tricky to install because the attachment screw is buried underneath. But short of redoing some duct work with a different style damper, these units are a good enough solution.
