Shut-off damper ADC is a turn off damper. The damper is provided with 24V AC motor with spring return actuator. Power connects to a connection block inside the electrical box. Positive closure is provided by a tight seal.

Good product, reasonable price.
We are using the product in a duct for air supply to an oil fired boiler, to open when the boiler fires up and shuts when it stops.
It is an excellent product for a reasonable price. However, the item we received was mislabeled. On the body it said 120 volts. But the motor was 24 volts.

Good damper to elliminate air leakage thru bathroom vent fan
If you don't have a roof vent flapper, or are unintentionally venting air out your bathroom vent vent, this is a good product to put in the 4" duct. It doesn't come with the 4" "nipples", so you'll need to purchase them sepperately. I wish they offered this in a 120 VAC model, but this one is 24 VAC, so if you power it from your 120 VAC vent switch you'll need to put a 24 VAC transforming between them.
