Rn2XRadon Fan is designed for active radon mitigation systems to employ for applications where medium suction and medium flow are needed. It is a perfect choice for elevated Radon levels and poor communication, multiple suction points and/or large sub slab footprint.

Manufactured from two molded plastic pieces seamlessly joined together. It is inherently and permanently airtight ensuring no Radon gas leakage. A large watertight electrical wiring enclosure ensures electrical installation quick and simple. Fan motor is thermal overload protected with automatic reset and can be installed both indoors or outdoors. To simplify installation on a 3” or 4” PVC pipe, use FRIK 6x3 or FRIK 6x4 Installation kits.

A lot of fan for the money
I've purchased, and certainly don't regret, the RN4EC-4. It's certainly not cheap, but SupplyHouse's great price helped there. That said, when it's all said and done, at least in my home, the RN2X, at roughly $100 less money, would have been a perfect fit for a high flow / moderate pressure / moderate power fan.
I'd not change what I did, for the EC allowed me the peace of mind in knowing I could buy a fan once and adjust it to my need. BUT, if I ever need to replace that fan the RN2X is a lot of performance per dollar, a great fit, and would be the fan I'd use.

I wouldn't buy this product again.
Bought to replace my Fantech F150. Also the install kit. Original was so quiet I couldn't. hear it run. New one fairly quiet but disturbing humming running through the house. Got a replacement but same issue. Would consider a different model. Saw same issue on internet. Old one lasted 35 years. RN2x 324 cfm sticker on fan says 280 cfm?

My Fantech Radon fan stopped working just inside the 5 year warranty period. Fantech and Supply House resolved the problem quickly by shipping me a replacement after going through a few trouble shooting steps. It was a seamless process and the new fan is up and running.
