Simple to pair, install & use.

I relocated one of the stale air pickups to the ceiling of our primary bathroom and installed this remote switch to replace the functionality of the general exhaust fan. The remote itself paired immediately and easily with the ecotouch control panel. One story away it has been absolutely reliable. Regardless of the current state of the heat exchanger, activating from the remote automatically kicks it in to turbo speed (highest) for the selected amount of time. One press for twenty, two for forty and three for sixty minutes. Upon completion of the time selected the exchange returns to the status it was at prior to remote takeover. This is true whether the exchanger is off, in eco mode, or any other mode. Bathroom has never had humidity controlled this well as the previous fan flowed only about 90cfm and probably less through a closed door and pushing all the way out to the second floor roof. Plus that old fan was loud, the heat exchanger is only the rushing sound of air as half the flow is now coming through that one vent. Mirror doesn't get a hint of condensation on it even during my wife's longest showers with a shave and full hair wash. Hopefully the battery has a long life and we should see some improved energy efficiency since all the outgoing air is now exchanged rather than passively replaced with leaks in the house.
