Just what Ineeded!

This is a direct fit and almost oem part for my furnace. Installed it and no.more heat dying on me. The associate that assisted me was great and patient with me and even did a price comparison that saved me some money! I will always reccomend this place and have their site saved.

Poor Quality Part - Watch for leaks! (see review)

This inducer motor was in high demand and out of stock everywhere including Supply House. I ordered one from a different supplier and it arrived damaged (obviously was dropped). They were out of stock on a replacement. I immediately went to Supply House to check and they had stock arriving. The part finally arrived and I installed it. I turned on the furnace and let it run then noticed it was leaking out the seam between the two halves of the Fan shell. I was in trouble as the old unit was on its last legs and I could not wait for a replacement. I had no choice but to open the shell and found that whoever assembled it did a poor job and the gasket material was very thin and absent on a portion of the seam. I used the same sealant as I used for the inducer inlet on teh shell seam and it worked like a charm. Very disappointed in the quality control after waiting 3 anxiety filled months hoping the old unit would not fail completely in the meantime. This is not Supply House's fault but I really wish the assembly line people would just do their job right. So check your unit before you install it - I'd fill it partially with water and test for leaks. I will do that moving forward.

2 years max

Perfect fitment but only last 2 years max. So, the last one I installed I used a small syringe and put some graphite into the bearings and seems to be a lot quieter and has lasted longer. Would be nice to be able to grease the bearings as there is no maintenance features.

Definitely not the same quality as Tranes OEM

I had to replace my induced motor about 5 or 6 years ago. This furnace is a backup which means it doesn't get used very often. My GEO thermal maintains the house most of the time. The motor I replaced 5 or 6 years ago is the same one I just bought. The Bearing seized. Unfortunately there is no way to replace just the Bearing. I looked for a different brand, but no one makes it, not even Trane so I was forced to buy this Mexican built P.O.S. again. Im really getting tired of buying poor quality parts for top price. Nothing against Supply House. They are a wonderful company. I would give them 5 star, but this product is just a 2 star.
