1-Speed 3000 RPM Blower Assembly (115V)

My furnace draft inducer died and I needed one today, but it was Sunday afternoon of course. SupplyHouse had one and shipped the following day, Monday and I received on Tuesday. Can't ask for more. I even called their support number on Sunday and they confirmed the product was in stock and would ship Monday to be delivered Tuesday. All good.

I bought this product to fix my furnace which in turn keeps my family warm and healthy. The price was hundreds less than what I was offered locally. My York inducer fan was making noise and the recommended replacement from York was S1-32649692000. The Fasco A984 looked exactly like my original and the specs were all the same. The only difference was that the Fasco fan does not come with the orifice plate so I had to remove the orifice plate from the old fan and put it in the new one. It comes out with a firm tug. The new York assembly, S1-32649692000 comes with a variety of orifice plates and also looks like it has a different motor but after looking online it doesn't look like the motor lasts any longer so I decided to stick with original which looks like it is the Fasco A984 and it is about half the cost. I did add a bead of silicone around the orifice plate because it looks like it possibly could work itself loose at some point. Even if it did it doesn't have anywhere to go but it might cause a rattle.

I received the product on time as stated. I received the inducer motor and had it installed within an hour of receiving it. Product was exactly as advertised. I would definitely order from this company again.

The motor was mounted in a different orientation that the one I replaced. This caused the pressure switches to be moved over to make room for the motor. Not a big deal, but all of the parts should have been able to be mounted using the original mounting holes.

Product arrived packaged very well. It installed and was the exact replacement of what was in the furnace. I was able to have heat again and it's ran perfectly since.
