Worked well to hold the expansion tank up. I usually hang from bottom of air separator but I used a hydroponic separator this time and will be in the future. I will be purchasing in the future. Only thing I would like is that there was a pipe tapping on the top side of the unit for a connection, that would make it a little more universal.

Great product, poor QC

I've purchased and installed quite a few of these. They're awesome for the intended purpose, but about 30% of them I get have bad threads in the 1/2" FPT connections. Some are egg-shaped, some have really shallow threads, and some have really tight threads. Getting them to seal is a crapshoot. The most recent one, both ports were visually egg shaped and of course both leaked- one with a sch80 iron nipple and the other with a copper male adapter. I took it apart and made up the joints again, 3 times each, and still no luck sealing so I threw it in the scrap pile. I will keep buying them, but just make sure you've got unions in your lines to fix the leaks.

Excellent option for wall hunf expansion tanks.

This unit gives you the option to hang the expansion tank in a convenient location without cluttering up the pipe work, which is cluttered up enough.

Nice Bracket

Very sturdy to support a water logged tank. Only change I would make is to just leave another port for 1/2" on top instead of the manual bleeder. You could then install an auto "can vent" especially at remote installations.

New Installation Approach

This is the item you need if your mounting the expansion tank in a 12 to 6 o'clock installation on your furnace or hot water heater. There are tow types one for potable water and one for domestic water sources.
