Cable Repair
This coupler helps save the cable by replacing anything from a broke end to a section of kinked cable, which is my issue…I have a terrible kink, about ten feet from the end, an issue I inherited after buying a used rental unit!!! I have used the cable for over fifteen years, before I thought it was time to repair, the cable had weakened and become dangerous, it was time to fix and this coupler did the job!!!

1/2 quick fix cable end
I bought this product after watching the video on how to make a simple,quick and inexpensive repair to a damaged drain auger cable, unfortunately I was unable to use this simple cable end repair product because it will only work on a left twist cable and my cable is a right twist so I was unable to use it and had to buy a new cable. Thinking I was doing something wrong I re watched the repair video a few times before discovering the problem as mentioned above.I did not seek to return product yet but I will call to see if I can exchange it for another product.

1/2 inch quick fix end
Bought this hoping to fix the broken off end of my 1/2 sewer snake machine. Would not work. Only works on left twist cable, mine is right twist. They should mention this in the description, how is someone to know it only works on certain cable. Lay a standard screw next to your cable, if the spring coils and the screw threads both lean the same way, this end will not work.

Exactly what I needed.

Quick Fix coupler doesn't go on
This product doesn't state it will only work on a left twist cable and my cable is a right twist so I bought this for nothing, now I gotta figure out where I could get the correct coupler for my machine
