Description
–
Designed with the highly efficient electronically commutated permanent magnet motor (ECM technology), this revolutionary pump consumes 40% less energy while delivering an added variable speed technology that offers further power savings. Through microprocessor technology the motor is provided the precise frequency and voltage for optimum performance. This pump provides instant availability of hot water, even at the tap farthest from the hot water heater, therefore, reducing the amount of wasted water. This model has a thermostat with and adjustable Set Point range from 68ºF to 158ºF. The built-in temperature sensor will turn the circulator off when it reaches the Set Point and turn the circulator on when the temperature is more than 10ºF (6ºC) below the Set Point.

Works as advertised but caused a droning noise in our system
Next time I'd get the version of this E Series that allowed pump speed control. The noise is bothersome and there's no way to adjust it down.

The prefect replacement
I have a full house h/w recirculating system. 20 y/o pump failed. Quick and easy communication steered me to the corrent replacement pump.
This replacement fit perfectly and needed no alterations of the existing plumbing. Was able to pull the old pump and replace with the new inside of 20 minutes.
Fits perfectly and works great !!!

This is second time for this pump
This pump is great for keeping hot water available at all times. The temperature setting is easy to use and ensures the pump isn't used during the hot summers when there is plenty of hot water available. I used this model for 8 years before our hard water in Las Vegas necessitated a new pump, I purchased the same model.
