This timer can be installed on all Laing E1/E3 series pumps to increase the overall efficiency of a domestic hot water recirculating system and to reduce water wasted while waiting for hot water. It is is easily installed by removing the motor end cap, plugging in the timer and setting the timer schedule without any wiring. The timer has a pigtail that connects to the pump. It can be used in 3-different selections: ON, OFF and TIMER. The ON selection operates the pump continuously, the OFF selection turns the pump OFF and the TIMER selection turns the pump on when programmed.

Laing Thermotech recirculating pump, timer.
I actually bought two units (at different times), the first being the recirculating pump followed by this timer. I was able to spin off the old pump and spin on the new without having to tap into the water lines. And the timer was an easy add-on.
Had to call back to talk to someone there about an issue and got it resolved quickly.
I'm quite pleased.

Q: Does this timer (60AAGT001) have the pig tail 3 wire connection inside, instead of the fixed 3 prong connection? The 60A0G1008/E1-BCTVNNNW-01 pump requires the pig tail connection so I want to make sure this is the timer that is compatible with the aforementioned pump.
