The FloTrax is a combination control panel, keypad, alarm, temperature sensor, and two-way communication tracking device all-in-one. VIP w/ SideKick

The VIP (valve interface panel) is the primary processing control unit for the PipeBurst Pro system. When water is detected by a FloodBug or SideKick sensor, the VIP's patent pending technology automatically turns off the water supply via the waterproof TickerValve. The VIP not only proactively shuts off the water supply to the facility, it also sounds a built in alarm and lights up an LED display to signal the occupants. The VIP difference is the proven quality of craftsmanship, which is Made in the USA with over 35 successful years of real world application experience. The VIP is able to sync up and communicate with all of the PipeBurst Pro products instantly when a leak is detected. The VIP easily integrates into your security system which provides maximum protection notification even when you are not on the premises.

Stainless Steel TickerValve

GreenField Direct's full flow, motorized, TickerValve is, frankly, over-engineered to provide the required "extra" power needed occasionally to insure the valve's full operation, even in tough water applications. Because of these potential hazards, the TickerValve cycles back and forth in a 90 degree rotation arc. This way if it encounters any sort of obstruction while closing that it can't power its way through, it can free itself by re-opening in reverse. 25 years ago GreenField Direct's valves rotated round and round, stopping every 90 degrees and never reversing; however this cycle pattern caused inherent problems that they have long since overcome with the back and forth rotation pattern used now. Additionally, the exclusive TickerValve features a 3/4 second close time to stop the leak fast, and a SloFlo "Ticking" action to open the valve in several slower steps. This prevents the surge of released energy, in the form of water hammer, from damaging your pipes upon a re-pressurizing of the homes plumbing every time the TickerValve is opened. FloodBug w/ SideKick

The FloodBug and SideKick work especially well in tight areas where potential water leaks are most likely to occur. When a leak is detected the FloodBug will sound an alarm and send a signal to the VIP to shut off the water supply to the pipe that is causing the issue.
