Like A New Pump, But Easier
Only 4 screws to pull the pump apart, and put this new cartridge in. I had our pump rebuilt in under 10 minutes, and we were again up and running.
I don't know why, but we have had a few of these pumps where the impeller broke right off and would stop pumping. When that happens, our boiler gets an error of too high of temperature and it shuts down. Whenever that has happened, we rebuild this pump, and it works like new again.

Lifetime is Poor
I have 5 of these units in a solar installation. My experience, in spite of the Grundfos reputation, has not been good. Over a 10 year period I have had to replace 3 of these cartridges.

Glad I found Supply House
Supply House was less expensive than competition and free shipping. Shipped very quickly.Turns out I didn't need this cartridge kit now but will no doubt in the future. They're getting harder to find and the price has skyrocked. I'm stashing it away. If I have future needs of this nature, I'll check with Supply House first.

Early failure
Lasted 8 months, seasonal floor heat system, shut down for summer. Shaft seized, wouldn't start. Removed and freed turning by hand. Replaced under warranty but now don't trust the design. Customer not happy. Neither are we. Tech support from Grundfos essentially non existent.

Can't express in words how happy I am
Seriously, right now I almost want to cry I'm so happy. My pump started making noise recently, and it escalated quickly. It wasn't that bad at the pump, but the copper pipes in a 2 story house make a really good amplifier. It was SO loud I had to turn on a fan at night to make background noise so I could sleep. Next week, we have a whole week of temps barely hitting the double digits for a high, so I needed this fixed ASAP. When I found out that just the cylinder could be replaced, and I verified with Supply House that it would fit my pump, I had to break down and order one. Didn't want to spend the money, but I had to. Now, I'm sitting in a quite (finally!!!!) and warm house. Thank you SO much for overnight delivery. The peace of mind I have right now just can't be put into words.

cartridge kit
I purchased this cartridge for my ground source unit, shipping was extremely fast, and the part dropped right in. Took about 15 mins to fix my problem. Supply House is now my "Go to" for all of my ground source needs.
