So much better than the old pump
Our village water pressure is about 43 psi. Showers are iffy, watering the lawn takes so many moves, etc. We had an old Grandfos pump installed some years ago and enjoyed the 70 psi. However when you opened a faucet the pressure would have to drop almost to village level then the pump would kick in. Now, with this new SCALA2 there is no pressure drop. We get high pressure water immediately.

Not recommending to buy
Got this pump about 2.5 years ago. At month 13, right after warranty expiration, it started leaking at outlet joint. After examination, the cover piece had formed hairline crack in plastic. Grundfos supplies that part so it was replaced and leaking stopped. After another 15 months, it started leaking again. Replaced all seals, etc. and it didn't help . Looks like another crack but this time in plastic main body and there are no replacement parts available. Now I have to buy a new pump and I am buying a pump from different manufacturer, with steel body.
As a pump, it works fine and boosts pressure well, no complaints. Just an unreliable pump and poor choice of materials for construction of the pump.

Great pump and fast delivery
I use it to suck water out of an inground storage tank. It's connected to my irrigation system. The adjustability and ease of use is why I got it. This is the second one. THe first one died after about 5 years.

Perfect Pump
I was a little leery because of some reviews.
It has been 24 hours and this pump is preforming better then excepted.
Easy install. Self priming. SUPER QUIET.
Highly recommend.
As far has bad reviews, sound like user errors.

I would but again
I use this pump to pressure my water system in my house over the last 10 years I have bought three. The latest one has lasted 4 years with no problems. I put a vampire switch on mine so when I leave the house I turn it off. Great pump. I am rebuilding the other 2 which do leak but it is just a seal no biggie.

Do not buy!!!!
I have bought (2) of these pumps within the last year and both of them started leaking within one month of installation
It's an internal design flaw and grundfos will not do anything about it
I can't believe these pumps are so popular?!?

This Pump Is Good On Flooded Suction Applications. When Boosting Water That Is Already Pressurized Seems To Be The Culprit, From My Experience Anyway.

Amazing product
I installed the SCALA2 pump almost a year ago. Easy install and setup. Have not had a single issue to date. Even if this pump fails after 24 month warranty, the price point is very good, so I would buy another. Not saying its gonna fail, just making a point on value for what I bought.
