Does not contain any acids, caustics, solvents or other harsh or harmful ingredients. PT-BI01 continues its grease-digesting action in sewer lines, improving the performance of cesspools, septic tanks, and drain fields. Waste digesting bacteria biodegrade greasy matter en route, preventing redeposition and problems such as interior (crown) corrosion and sewer gas formation. Safe for use in all types of drainage plumbing. Helps eliminate unpleasant odors and slow drainage by breaking down and digesting fats, oils, grease, and other waste stream organics. USDA authorized/NSF registered for use in food processing plants. Regular use of PT-BI01 improves the function and condition of grease traps, prevents waste accumulation and odor problems in lines, floor drains, traps or disposal units, and keeps sump lift stations operating properly. It also reduces or eliminates operation downtime and damage from grease trap overflow.

Great maintenance product
This product works great when your system is already operating normally.
You can get your system flowing good with PT4 and then, use PT Bio-1 as a maintainer. It has a pleasant odor and to much will not be overpowering.
Use a 'drip' machine aka 'chloro-doser' for proper dosage into drain system for a relatively maintenance free system and regularly and/or periodically scheduled maintenance.

Jury is out, but professional advice is positive
I bought the product to keep drains running smoothly on advice of my plumber. Here in CA, we minimize water use which allows buildup in drains. I initially bought a small container of PT-BIO1 to try it. Moderate success, hard to judge, but conceptually preferred over chemicals if it will do the job. Bought 2 gal this time to give it real trial. Shipping was fast but bottles were sopping inside plastic packing bag. I worried about leak but they were tight. Too soon to know full preventive effect of the product on drains. No news will be good news.

Great Natural Drain Cleaning Product
We use this to make sure our drains and lines are clear of build up. It is easy to use and works well. The gallon size is convenient to keep around. Your shipping speed is amazing.

Great product! Peace of mind!
I've been using PT-BIO1 for years and have never once had a grease or soap buildup since. We have scheduled service twice a year and each time they are here and gone after a passing hose spray. Amazing stuff!

Wonderful product that really, really works!
Cloroben PT-BIO1 is a great product. Recommended by my plumber. I use it every 2 weeks as a preventative and have not had any problems for over 2 years.

Good for Preventative Maintenance
We had bio slime or black sludge buildup in our sinks/drains every few months. Talked to a plumber about it who was over doing some other stuff and he recommended using this. About 2-3 oz per every few weeks and we haven't had any issues. Will continue to use.

I'm a believer.
I use this for my kitchen drains. I never have a problem with any slow or clogged drains. I also use it just before leaving on a vacation and let it sit in the pipes for a week. Not sure what this does but no clogs and I feel good that it works.
