Leak Lock is an all-purpose, high-strength and versatile sealant used to prevent leaks, while maintaining its flexibility and adhesion under nearly all pressure and elemental forces. It stays flexible after curing, adheres to surfaces, fills voids, and is potable water safe once cured. It works in temperatures from -200F (-93C) to 400F (204C), as well as full vacuums and pressures to 10,000 psi. Suitable for use on all clean surface types.
Applications
Applications
- A sealant for all surfaces, including metals, plastics, and silicones.
- Seals a vast range of chemicals, CFCs, HFCs, oils, gases, steam, water, air, etc.
- Ideal for joining dissimilar metals and other materials.
- Clean Surface: Clean the surface with acetone or another suitable solvent.
- Apply: Apply with a brush or other applicator to both sealing surfaces.
- Wait: Wait 20 minutes for a tack time to develop before joints are assembled.
- Cure: Cure time will vary from 20 minutes to 24 hours, depending on pipe size and temperature of application.
- For Removal: Use any denatured alcohol as a cleaning solvent to remove unwanted spills or mess.

This is my favorite threaded joint sealer.
I found Leak Lock accidentally something like 30 years ago. It is the only sealant I've found to reliably work with brass/pvc threaded connections. For years it was more or less hard to find. Now it is easy. Thanks SupplyHouse.

The Best for Fuel Oil Connections
The absolute best thread sealant to use on fuel fittings including fuel oil. Have never had a "weep" with it yet. Keep container tightly closed and stir with brush before using.

I would buy this again but in the tubes not the bottle
This is a good product. I now remember why i used to buy it in the tubes instead of the bottle though. The bottles leak and its nasty.
