Does an important job that no other item does.
When used with an appropriate holdrite bracket, this will hold PEX firmly and securely so that it feels rock solid when you turn the stop valve. For old work/remodel where you're using existing holes that previously-rigid pipe fed through, this achieves something that no other product does.

Brilliant design
The clamp, along with the corresponding 709 bracket, made for easy work when I retrofitted bathroom stub-outs, replacing 80 year old galvanized with Uponor Pex. I originally thought I'd have to use drop-ear elbows, but these solved my problem and are far more flexible should I ever need to disassemble. These also are far easier to work with in cramped spaces.

Clamp on hold
The clamp looks and feels like it will do the job. It's up to the installation process. I haven't installed them yet but it looks promising.
