"Easy as pie" (no tools required!)
This package includes the 2 filters that need changing regularly with this Honeywell branded reverse osmosis filter system (the 3rd component with the 'system' is a staging tank but doesn't need regular replacement, same with the storage tank that is plumbed to this assembly).
I had run my RO filter to household humidifiers, which stayed scale free for the first time with this installation, for an entire heating season. This year the system wouldn't operate until I realized the filters were plugged up to the point no filtered water was going through. The lesson is to change these (at least) annually. Water quality varies widely so there is no set schedule or rule for changing.
And it's all done "by hand", no tools!

Process was ok
The rubber gasket on one unit did not work properly. I used old one and every thing worked fine. Did have a big water mess to deal with and worried about micro filter shorting out. Will probably still use again.

RO Replacement cartridges
This is the second time buying this product from Supply House. Always fast shipping and the best price.
The manufacturer says replace every year, I get 2 years out of the RO Unit. I use it to supply water to my Humidifier system so it only runs water through it 5 months a year.

RO filters
The Reverse Osmosis filters are a great help in getting rid of all the scale that accumulated in my humidifier and choked it.. But the problem remains that the H609 humidifiers they are used with consumes an awful lot of water, at least $50 worth of water by itself every month! This amount to at least $300 a year plus the filters at $100.. This is too expensive and energy consuming!

Yes. The bundle contains one each of the filters in your question, as I recall. I had two but gave them to my contractor when I pulled my Honeywell steam humidifier for an Aprilaire steam humidifier. I ordered the Bundled Replacement Filters for 50045947 RO Filter System a while ago, SKU # 50046086-001 (# for the 2 filters together). Filter 3 is a sediment filter--you should take this off (unscrews) and flush it out, then put it back on. The numbers on the two filters received are Honeywell 50046083-001 (#1 filter) and 50046084-001 (#2 filter)
