TRUEZONE Replacement Actuator for Normally Closed Dampers

First item was kinda loud but otherwise worked fine, until a couple days later when it was clear it was malfunctioning -- it's like the motor was stuck trying to open, still loud, and also loud when closing. Ordered a replacement, and the replacement was whisper-quiet opening and closing! Working great now!

Needed a replacement for a failed damper and this was place with the best price, great selection and fast shipping. All you could ask for when fixing an issue.

Easy to install and works perfectly. Original Honeywell Actuator was sticking and this one fixed the issue. Highly recommend this product. TIP: Make sure you know for certain if you have a Normally Open or Normally Closed damper. Look on the side sticker of original actuator and it will tell you.

I bought a replacement actuator and got exactly wha I expected. It is a good product. The problem is that the instructions were for the actuator and the damper. So there were no instructions for how to get the actuator onto the damper. Since the damper swings freely, it was not trivial and there didn't seem to be any provision in the design to zero out or return to the home position.

Received a lot sooner than expected. Product Is very well built as can be expected for a Honeywell product.

Shipping was quick and this was the best price i found. My prior motor was giving a buzzing sound and wasn't working the damper properly. Found out it was replaced by this model. Installation was easy even though the directions are a little vague. Disconnect old motor wires, remove set screw attaching motor to damper control shaft, remove old motor, install new model with damper in closed position, replace set screw, hook up motor wires. ..done. tested it out and I'm back in business. Can't imagine what a technician would have charged to do this. As noted in the description this is the model where the damper is closed when the motor is off.

Motor on my old intake damper started making noise. Took apart and double checked to verify motor issue. This is a replacement for the original and fits perfectly. This was extremely easy to replace and worth the price. Try buying an entire unit with motor and damper...way expensive. If your valve is OK, this is the way to go.
