Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffV8043E1012 has a SPST auxiliary end switch. V8043A1029 does not have an end switch.

Q: Is it possible to power this device from a, say, 10 watt PV panel so that this valve would be open whenever enough sunlight exists. If a 10 watt panel would be too small, would a larger PV panel do what I am asking here?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffA V8043A1029 needs 24vac, 50/60hz and draw of 7.7va. You must provide this at all times or you will burn out the motor.

Q: So in normal operation all the zones should be left in the auto position? The manual position is only for operation in times when there is no power?
