- Spring returns motor to start position on power failure.

- Thermal breaker for overload protection during lifting stroke or if motor stalls.

Just like the original
The return spring on the old Modutrol motor on my Carlin two-stage oil burner broke, leaving the burner stuck in high fire. The new motor is an exact replacement of the old one, making the swap very easy. All I had to do was adjust the high-fire switch cam and the damper linkage, and everything was back to normal.
