Purchased Five Thermostats
Controls 5 zones for "Radiant Floor" heating system. User friendly, very accurate, works great.
Note: We made the mistake by tossing out the resisters, remember to install all resisters. We now have to re-order them, having problems when all zones call for heat, there's too much power to all thermostats at once...they fail and malfunction. We've learned the hard way. But a good product, our mistake. :)
Like the illuminated dial...highly recommend!

Love these t-stats
I wish honeywell would bring this line back, these were a favorite with my customers, and for no particular reason they dropped them. Now, I can't find them, and when Ido they're priced at $100+, which is ridiculous. Even if they just made the heat/cool ones that would be a great improvement over none at all.

When you don't need anything fancy, the T8775 is it. Have used for years. Put it in my folks house, in my shop. Put it in and forget it.

I would buy this product again.
This Thermostat solved my problem of having the furnace turn on every time the door slammed shut. The old Mercury based thermostat was to unstable and would turn on when the wall vibrated.

Excellent replacement for old mercury switch thermostat
Using for a simple two wire, heat only application to replace a well worn mercury switch model. Very simple to install although there are toggle switches to set so need to read the directions. Shows the current temperature in large digital display. Turning the dial switches display to the set temperature which you adjust by turning right (+) or left (-). Works great.

Note: the backlight works only when one turns the control ring and the light then shuts off in about five seconds. If your unit is not working like this than your thermo before was not working all the time either. Perhaps a short in the wiring triggered by someone walking over the wire area or slamming a door.

Light is only supposed to come on when you push the light button or make a tempature change. It stays on for around 20 seconds and then goes out. Sounds like yours is working correct to me.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYes it can be. As long as you only need a thermostat to control heat and not air conditioning, this will work for you.
