Bought this thermostat for remote control and monitoring in the family business. Just like the regular Vision Pro but with WiFi capability, and a fresh new look.
Installation was fairly easy, but please note that a common wire is required in order to use the thermostat, which with a standard single stage heat/cool system requires a total of 5 wires. (more if you have multi stage etc) If you only have a 4 wire cable and can't easily run a new one I recommend the Honeywell Wire Saver.
WiFi set up was also pretty simple, not as easy as I'd hope but still pretty straightforward. When you first power on the thermostat it broadcasts it's own SSID that says "new thermostat" and then some numbers and you connect to it with your computer and connect it to your local wireless network. After that you register it with My Total Connect Comfort.
I'm not a novice but I'm guessing it shouldn't be too hard to figure out for someone not real familiar with this stuff.
Thermostat performance itself is very good just like the regular Vision Pro and other Honeywell Pro model thermostats. I recommend with forced air furnaces, high or low efficiency starting with 3 CPH, not the 5 that the manual recommends. Only do 5 CPH if you have a grossly oversized natural draft furnace. the default 3 CPH setting for A/C is usually ok, unless you have an oversized A/C and need it to run longer to dehumidify better, then try 2 CPH and see how it does. (it's mostly trial and error)
Overall I definitely recommend this thermostat, it's a great value for the price and is the best WiFi thermostat in the low 100 dollar range! I prefer it over the Nest.

This model should be sold to pro HVAC
The product looks perfect for our use online. However while trying to get help from Honeywell, we were told this should be sold only to professional HVAC tech. Fortunately we had one to do the install but after power failure we need help again to reset the programs. Am I going to get help with this without the HVAC person coming back in? Probably not. Honeywell support was rude to the pro, I can't imagine how they will respond to me.

Easy to use
This is one of the easies thermostats to set up. Programming weekly schedule and daily adjustments are easily made. Purchase optional outdoor temp sensor (requires wires) and out door temp is nicely displayed. Con: no indoor humidity display or humidifier control.

Great when the Wi-Fi works!
Supply House has been great to work with, and the product works great when the Wi-Fi card is operational. I bought 12 units for my facility, had to send 5 units back because of faulty Wi-Fi. The next shipment of 5 replacements only 2 worked. Hope to receive the last 3 soon so that all my areas can be operated by the phone app which works great!

Inside temp sensor problem
Inside temp shown on screen not correct nor does it catch up with ambient temp in the room. Wifi connection simply won't work per the instructions if you use a laptop on a domain. Have to use one that's not. Returning my unit and will give this device one more chance.

Up and running in a snap
Since I was replacing a similar 3H/2C Honeywell stat, this was easy to install and configure. I did have to power is off as I waited more than 10 minutes to configure wireless. It works like a charm with the iPhone app.

This is a great product!
Whether you need your thermostats on a set schedule or need the convenience of a manual changeover, this product will work for you! Just take a look at the long list of features - remote access, energy savings, real-time clock, easy-to-read display, various useful reminders, etc. This is a great product!
Some furnaces operate on multiple stages to save energy. A two-stage furnace, for example, would only need to use its second stage on colder days. You must always use a thermostat that has enough stages to match those of the heating and/or cooling system.
