This low-cost, single-set point thermostat is perfect for areas requiring temporary or permanent freeze protection. This easy-to-operate garage thermostat allows you to maintain temperature to your garage/storage area. Attractive, extra-rugged, highly reliable and accurate, this thermostat will look and perform like new for years to come.
Its special foam backing improves accuracy by providing separation from the wall at installation, while sealing up any unsightly wiring holes. This insulated backing helps eliminate the risk of "wall effect" (wall temperature causing false temperature readings).
Ideal for storage areas, garage workshops, crawl spaces, warehouses and other critical areas where protection from extreme cold is essential.

Perfect for the Garage
Paired this with a Honeywell RC840T-240 and works perfect. Easy to install and is a perfect fit for the garage. These days it is nearly impossible to find electronics made in the USA, but this one is!

works great and simple to operate
Bought this to regulated heat in shop on a as needed basis, did not need 24/7 programming. I has one of the lowest setting of thermostats around so keeps stuff from freezing. Also has a fan control mode so can use furnace's filter to remove dust.

Great Thermostat for my garage in norther MI
Easily wired in place of manual thermostat that it replaced. I set it at 35 degrees and left for FL for the winter after making sure it worked for a for days. Helps protect my heated storage building during the winter months.

FS1500l works as claimed
Bought this to go in my insulated pole barn with a Hot Dawg 60,000 btu heater. I only need the heat higher than 35 degrees when out in barn working or getting ready to snowblow. 35 degrees keeps snow off cars keeps pole barn from freezing inside.This Thermostat works fine easy to put in can also shut heater off & on.My old thermostat lowest setting was 45 degrees.Saving on the gas I use plus my Gas Bill. Now the heater hardly runs at all 6 degrees right now outside

Does the job.
I used the Frost Sentry in my heated garage because it allows me to set the thermostat down to 35 degrees, which my other one did not. It works well and does the job with out any fancy features.
