The vent is the vent. The more important thing is that you have always carried what I need or sent me a suitable replacement. You have always treated me with outstanding customer service, but you really outdid yourselves this time. I ordered the vent on a Sunday expecting it would ship Monday and I would receive it Tuesday. Imagine my surprise when it arrived the very next day, Monday. I was speechless. I got spoiled by your next day deliveries, but on a weekend? You have set the customer service calendar back 40 years or more (a very good thing). I can count on very few companies for normal service, let alone the superlative treatment you provide EVERY TIME!

defective products
These valves function quietly and accurately. Unfortunately, the threads on the 1/8" connections are cut with a straight thread, and not a pipe taper. This means that they will not fit into a standard 1/8" radiator thread. So, I had to return them. I hope Jacobus figures out which were incorrectly threaded and does some kind of recall. For now, I have to stay away from Maid o'Mist.
