Quality valve and great customer service
This valve worked right out of the box. After bleeding the line of air and installing the valves I haven't had any issues. The new valves are quicker to respond temperature change; they also allow the radiators to stay hot a longer compared to the valves I replaced. Just be sure to follow the recommendation for size this company makes, it'll be a big help when deciding the placement of your valves.

I would not buy this again
I switched out over 80 valves and had to replace 1/4 of them already with in a year and half. The valves got stuck and would not open, cracked in multiple spots causing water damage, and have caused my energy bill to go up because the heat was not working properly.

I would buy this product again IF
The vent I bought last year developed a hairline crack and began to leak. This purchase is the replacement. If the same happens with this one I will switch brands and find something better

I would not buy this again
I switched out over 80 valves and had to replace 1/4 of them already with in a year and half. The valves got stuck and would not open, cracked in multiple spots causing water damage, and have caused my energy bill to go up because the heat was not working properly.

Maid-O-Mist Steam Air Valve
Would like also to be able to buy the top screw only which controls the size of the air valve opening. This way it make it easy to adjust the heat balancing of each room in the house without having to reinstall the valves.

I would buy again
This economic valve is very good quality, in my house it is a two-story with steam heater and I bought the valves according to the manufacturer's specifications, 4 # 4 valves on the first floor and 3 # 6 valves for the second floor , and my house now does regulate the heat properly, does its hiss but now I don't have the problem of cold rooms on the second floor.
