Great product and customer service.
These air or vent valves are great. I replaced some adjustable valves that had been in use for some time. These valves worked right from first installation. After I bled the line of air, removed the old valves and let the trapped air out, I installed these new valves and haven't needed to bother with them sense. Just make sure you follow the suggested sizing requirements on the web cite and everything should go well.

I will not buy this product again IF
I bought this to replace the one I bought last year. That one developed hairline cracks AND began to leak. If the same happens with this one I will switch to another brand

A Vent Is A Vent
The vent is very good, but a vent Is a vent, right?
However, the customer service was and still is amongst the very best. The very few times I've had to contact them, they're always been 💯 on top of it, they're a perfect example of service driving sales. 👏🏼

Just what I needed.
Quick delivery, exactly what I needed. We had our house rennovated, they replaced all the old iron heaters on every floor. But broke off a few heater valves while installing. They never came back to replace the bent valves, so I ordered new ones & replaced them myself. I will be ordering more valves from supplyhouse, very satisfied.

Quiet and Comfortable

Q: How do I install this? Do I have to do anything besides (#1) flip the switch to turn off the steam heater (#2) remove the old angle valve by turning CCW with a cloth on it (#3) put the white pipe thread tape three times around the thread on the new valve (#4) screw on the new valve clockwise and (#5) flip the switch to turn on the steam vent? Thanks for your help!

More than I do. I just screw it on when the boilers off. Never used Teflon tape. Sent from my iPhone

Your procedure is almost correct. Please don't forget to let the system cool off before unscrewing the old air valve. You don't want any pressure in the system when you do that first step.
