Description

Note: A TSI36 Insert is required for heating applications (and recommended for plumbing applications) when making a connection to PEX (an insert is required for each end of the fitting being connected to PEX). This insert is sold separately.

John Guest Speedfit Push-to-Connect Tees are the easiest and most dependable way to join Copper, PEX, or CPVC pipe in any combination with no solder, glue, or tools required. JG Speedfit fittings use a collet with stainless steel teeth that grips the pipe when fully inserted, and an EPDM O-Ring to provide a permanent, leak-proof seal. When twisted into place, the locking cap locks the pipe in place ensuring maximum security. Disconnection is just as easy with no tools needed; simply twist the cap counterclockwise to unlock then depress collet against the fitting to remove the pipe. JG Speedfit Twist-to-Lock fittings are suitable for hot and cold potable water and hydronic heating applications. Code approved for behind-the-wall installations. 25-Years warranty.

fantastic push connect fittings

I used these in a School Bus to RV conversion where I may have to rearrange the pex routing a few times to get things just right. Easy on and easy off fittings for any application. I like these better than standard push connect fittings and the price is so much better than heavy brass fittings. Push pipe in to connect, twist to seal and you're done. Supply House had the best price on these fittings that I could find online. Even with shipping cost, the price was still competitive and shipping was very quick.

Works good

Using with PEX tubing for an irrigation system in my garden. Easy to remove the tubing after the season is over for storage.

Dont forget the T120 inserts

Dont forget the T120 inserts if you are using PEX. I made the costly mistake. Not that the inserts are expensive they are actually very cheap,32 cents, but an extra $9 and change to ship a second time. Couldn't find them at the big box!!! Actual part is good, works well very easy to use no leaks, beats the heck out of copper.

Great fittings that are easy to use

I ordered a bunch of John Guest Speedfit fittings to redo the plumbing in my bathroom. I also had to order a couple of Sharkbite fittings of the type that John Guest didn't offer (water heater connectors) and I have to say I prefer the John Guest fittings big time. Whether I was coming off the old copper pipe or to the new PEX tubing the pipe or tubing was much easier to insert into the John Guest fitting because they use the twist lock feature to finalize the compression. Because it was so easy I thought for sure I must have mumped something up but when I turned on the pressure there were no leaks whatsoever. If you are thinking of redoing a small area in PEX and are looking for a fast, easy way to get it done I highly recommend these types of fittings. PS, Pexsupply was very fast with their shipping. Highly recommend this company as well.

Q: Is this fitting campatable with mur-lok tubing ?

John Guest fittings work with copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing (which all have the same outside diameters for each size). Mur-Lok tubing is PVC so it likely would not be compatible with these fittings.
