I made water hoses from 3/8" air hoses
I have a 1700 PSI, 1.2 GPM pressure washer that I modified. (Electrically rewired with a 24- volt transformer and a 24-volt contactor with a flow switch that activates the contactor.) Anyway, a regular 5/8 or 3/4 water hose supplies too much water and pressure to allow the flow switch to shut off. I found that the 3/8 air hoses supply only about 4 GPM and that allows the pressure washer to shut itself off when I release the wand trigger. This hose barb worked perfectly to attach the necessary Garden Hose connectors to the 3/8 air hose. I use brass ferrules and a ferrule crimper to make my own custom hose ends. This hose barb works perfectly.
